This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for lansingnow.com (the “Site”).  It applies to all personal information that Lansing Building Products, LLC and Lansing Building Products Northeast, LLC (collectively, “Lansing”,  “we”, or “our”) collects about you in connection with the Site and Lansing’s e-commerce platform, how we use and protect that information, and choices that may be made regarding your personal information.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information and other information collected by Lansing or its service providers from or about: (i) visitors to, or users of the Site (ii) prospective and current customers visiting the Site, stores and branches, (iii) job applicants, and (iv) other third-parties that we interact with.

Your visit to and use of the Site is subject to this Privacy Policy.  Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to fully understand our practices regarding your information and how we will treat it.  This Privacy Policy may change from time to time.  Your continued use of our Site after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check this Privacy Policy periodically for updates. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy.

The types of information that Lansing may collect and process include:

• contact information such as your name, telephone number, postal and email address, or any other identifier by which you may provide to be contacted online or offline;
• information necessary to fulfill your orders from Lansing or its service providers, including login and password credentials, credit card information, banking information, account numbers, and check information;
• business information, along with such additional information as needed to process business account applications; and

Lansing will attempt to answer all requests to correct or delete any data so long as Lansing is not required to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes.

In addition, to protect your privacy, we may require you to prove your identity before granting access to, or agreeing to update, correct or delete your personal information and we will only implement requests with respect to personal information about you (not anyone else).

Lansing does not sell or advertise to minors or children, and recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy and safety of children. Therefore, our Site is directed towards the general audience and is not directed towards children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13 or minors otherwise defined in local law or regulation without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that someone under 13 has provided personal information through our Site, we will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from our databases.

This section supplements the Privacy Policy, applies solely to California consumers (if any), and addresses personal information we collect online and offline.  If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information.  This section uses certain terms that have the meaning given to them in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and its implementing regulations (the “CCPA”). • The right to request that we delete certain personal information we have collected from you.

Lansing will post a notice to its Site to inform you of any material changes to this Privacy Policy and indicate when it was most recently updated. In the case of material changes that may adversely affect you, Lansing may provide a more direct way of notifying you of changes to this Privacy Policy.
